The Wooster Show was June 25-27. We were there with our tent set up and 6 tables of merchandise. Sales were incredible from start to finish. We knew we would be busy, but I did not image we would have lines of people for three straight days. We sold everything under the sun with people loving us having goodies for all four brands. Oliver and White were the most sought-after items along with our new club logo items. It was great hearing people from New York to Texas to Minnesota and everywhere in-between talking about and buying club items because they have the state of Ohio on them and this was their commemorative piece from the show. Many times you would hear “this is the best merchandise…”. Every day we set a new record for sales. Thanks to everyone who was there and helped.
Larry was asked several times if we would bring our Club out of state as people loved the way we set up for show. Of course, the back of the tent was full of members, friends and collectors visiting and telling their stories.
A big Thank You to Caleb Schwartz, Schwartz Farm Toys for donating the bubble gum machine filled with toy tractors to the club. It will be auctioned off at our fall banquet. I would also like to give a big Thank You for the tractors displayed in front of our tent; Melvin Wengerd for displaying his White 2-155, Ron Grosjean for displaying his Minneapolis Moline G550 High Crop, Chet Linebaugh for displaying his Cockshutt 20, and Larry Elliott for displaying his Oliver 77. And Thank You to everyone who displayed and attending.
